What I left behind in high school.
Looking back at my four years, I feel extremely proud of myself. The two biggest things that I’m leaving behind is how I’ve done in Key Club and Track.
I brought Leigh’s Key Club back to the division and was a strong leader. I was the distinguished president of my division back in my junior year and the most valuable member. Working hard and pushing my club to move forth, we earned the Most Improved Club title at the end of the year.
In Track my freshman year, I anchored on the Varsity Girls’ 4x1 relay team and, together, we broke the Leigh High School’s record. Now in my senior year, my team and I went undefeated in our dual meets; The first time that Leigh has done that in over 17 years.
I’ve learned so much from these two passions of mine. It’s crazy to think that in less than a month, I’m going to be done with high school. I know that I’ve done well and that I’ve left behind a little bit of Analynn back at Leigh. I’m so grateful and proud that I’ve been apart of something that was greater than myself. Although the ending was not perfect, I know that what I’ve learned and the memories I’ve made are far greater than the two almost-titles that I would have received. That was truly priceless.
